Morgane Thérésine Crowned Miss World Guadeloupe 2018
Morgane Thérésine was crowned as Miss World Guadeloupe 2018 at Le Gosier on July 23, 2018. She succeeds Audrey Berville as the new Miss World Guadeloupe and will now represent Guadeloupe at Miss World 2018 wherein Manushi Chhillar of India will crown her successor as next Miss World.
She competed against 14 other contestants to win the title. The newly crowned Miss World Guadeloupe 2018, Morgane Thérésine is passionate about athletics and her leisure pursuits include dance and music. She is a renowned face in pageant industry being the winner of Miss Guadeloupe 2016 and eventually finishing as the 3rd runner-up at Miss France 2017.
Soon after being crowned as Miss World Guadeloupe 2018, Morgane Thérésine took over to her social media handle saying, “Life gives us pleasant surprises. I am pleased to announce that I was selected to represent my island, Guadeloupe at the next miss world election 2018. And it is with great pleasure that I have accepted this challenge, because you know that this title of ambassador of Guadeloupe is for me above all the privileged instrument to highlight the wealth and heritage of Guadeloupe. And it is always with great pride that I pledge to promote on the international stage, the beauty of Guadeloupe and its islands.”
Guadeloupe last placed at Miss World pageant in 2017 when Audrey Berville placed as Top 40 quarter finalist.
