Filipa Barroso Crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2018
Filipa Barroso was crowned as Miss Universe Portugal 2018 during the grand finale of Miss Portuguesa 2018 which took place on July 28, 2018. She succeeds Matilde Lima as the new Miss Universe Portugal and will now represent Portugal at Miss Universe 2018 wherein Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor as next Miss Universe.
The newly crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2018, Filipa Barroso is 22 years old and hails from Setúbal. She stands 174 cm tall and her vital stats 83-64-94.
During the same event, Carina Neto was crowned Miss International Portugal 2018, Alina Mulyavka was titled as Miss Supranational Portugal 2018 while Ana Rita Aguiar and Vânia Correia were adjudged as the first and second runners-up respectively. At the same event, Priscila Alves was appointed Miss Grand Portugal 2018.
