Hailey Colborn From Kansas Wins Miss Teen USA 2018
Hailey Colborn from Kansas was crowned as Miss Teen USA 2018 during the 36th edition of Miss Teen USA pageant which was held on May 18, 2018 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. She succeeds Sophia Dominguez Heithoff of Missouri as the new Miss Teen USA.
Hailey Colborn is the second woman from Kansas to win the title of Miss Teen USA after Keylee Sue Sanders won the Miss Teen USA crown back in 1995. The newly crowned Miss Teen USA is trained in classical ballet for 14 years. She graduated from Wichita Northwest High School in 2018, and will attend Princeton University to study political science. She had previously competed in the Miss Kansas’ Outstanding Teen 2016 competition, where she was the first runner-up and a finalist in the fitness and talent categories.
During the same event, Kirby Elizabeth Self from South Carolina was titled as the first runner up, Chloe Zambrano from Colorado was adjudged as the second runner up, Sydni Dion Bennett from Illinois was announced as the third runner up and Kaaviya Sambasivam from North Carolina finished as the fourth runner up.
