Wilda Octaviana Situngkir from Kalimantan Barat Crowned Miss Supranational Indonesia 2018
Wilda Octaviana Situngkir from Kalimantan Barat was crowned as Miss Supranational Indonesia 2018 in the 22nd edition of the Puteri Indonesia pageant which took place on March 9, 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia. During the conclusion of Puteri Indonesia 2018, Karina Nadila from East Nusa Tenggara crowned Wilda Octaviana Situngkir from Kalimantan Barat as the new Miss Supranational Indonesia, who will now represent Indonesia at Miss Supranational 2018, hoping to succeed Jenny Kim of South Korea.
During the same event, Kevin Lilliana of West Java crowned Vania Fitryanti as the new Miss International Indonesia, who will now represent the nation at Miss International 2018, hoping to succeed Kevin Lilliana as Miss International 2018. Meanwhile, Bunga Jelitha of Jakarta Special Capital Region 5 crowned the new Miss Universe Indonesia, Sonia Fergina Citra who will now represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2018 wherein Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor as next Miss Universe.
The grand finale witnessed the three reigning international queens, Demi Leigh Nel Peters, Kevin Lilliana and Jenny Kim sharing the same stage.
The country is yet to win its first Miss Supranational crown.
