Angeline Flor Pua Crowned Miss België 2018
Angeline Flor Pua from Antwerp was crowned as Miss Belgium 2018 in the 50th edition of Miss Belgium pageant, which took place on January 13, 2018 at Plopsa Theater de Panne. The newly crowned Miss Belgium will now represent the country at Miss World 2018 hoping to succeed Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World.
During the same event, Zoé Brunet from Jemeppe-sur-Sambre was crowned as the first runner up to Miss Belgium 2018 and is now expected to represent Belgium at Miss Universe 2018, hoping to succeed Demi Leigh Nel Peters as the new Miss Universe. Dhenia Covens from Vremde finished at the third place.
Angeline, who is twenty two years old is currently studying aviation aspire to become an airline pilot. She loves to travel, play sports, cook and fly.
This year thirty delegates competed to win the coveted title of Miss Belgium 2018.
The country is yet to win its first Miss World and Miss Universe crown. However, the nation has held the record of bagging the runner up titles at both the pageants. Belgium last placed at the Miss Universe in 2015 under the representation of Annelies Törös, who was adjudged as the Top 15 semi-finalist. The country last managed to grab placement at Miss World in 2016 when Lenty Frans was adjudged as the Top 11 finalist.
