Carolina Urrea Wins Miss Nevada USA 2018
Carolina Urrea was crowned as Miss Nevada USA 2018 on January 7, 2018. She succeeds Lauren York as the new Miss Nevada USA and will represent Nevada at Miss USA 2018, wherein Kára McCullough of the District of Columbia will crown her successor as new Miss USA, who will then represent the United States of America at Miss Universe 2018.
During the same event, Britney Barnhart was crowned as Miss Nevada Teen USA 2018, who will now go on to represent the state of Nevada at Miss Teen USA 2018.
Nevada has won the Miss USA title only once under the representation of Nia Sanchez, who was crowned as Miss USA 2014. Nia further went on to claim the first runner up title at Miss Universe 2014. Nevada last placed at Miss USA in the year 2015 under the representation of Brittany McGowan who was adjudged as 3rd Runner Up at Miss USA 2015.
