Femina Miss India 2017: A Review On South Zonal Batch!

Femina Miss India 2017: Review on South Zone Batch

Femina Miss India 2017 is totally blazing the fire in this edition as it has reached the culmination of its first zonal crowning. So with only a day left for the crowning of five state titleholders, who will then represent their respective states as Top 30 finalist of Femina Miss India 2017, I am here with the review and predictions for the South Zonal Crowning of Femina Miss India 2017.

This year has been good so far in the selection criteria of the candidates. The competition is high notch as each state has merely three finalists competing for the state title. Also the shortlisted candidates scream of their calibre through their subtle yet evidently shimmering personalities. So let’s get started with the review right away! 🙂

The south zone is extremely impressive in this edition and I must say if the shortlisted candidates continue to work on the right path, we may see the south zone finalists giving other state titleholders a run for money. As India has always produced international pageant winners through the courtesy of South Indian beauty queens like Srinidhi Shetty and Asha Bhat, never underestimate this part of India when it comes to beauty pageants.

Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh was the very first state audition of Femina Miss India 2017 and received great amount of thumbs up both from the pageant fans and experts. The state witnessed the selection of three finalists, Sindhura Kaviti, Srishti Vyakaranam and Sarvani Uppati. While Andhra Pradesh finalists seemed most impressive to me, and probably one of the strongest among others, I will place my bet on Sarvani Uppati for the title of Femina Miss India Andhra Pradesh 2017.

Sarvani Uppati totally fits in the bill of modern beauty queen. She is pleasant, smart and has an effective aura to influence a lot of people. This eloquent beauty has a strong “Beauty with a Purpose” project too, which is an add on to her already gleaming personality.

Telangana batch seemed a little weak to me, when compared with other state finalists. Telangana state auditions witnessed the medley of Shreya Kamavarapu, Simran Choudhary, and Spatika Surapaneni as the finalists of Femina Miss India Telangana 2017. Among the chosen finalists, Simran Choudary is my bet for the title of Femina Miss India Telangana 2017.

Simran Choudhary is great at sports and is also a trained dancer. She was also Miss Diva 2016 Hyderabad finalist, and I believe she has what it takes to be the face of Telangana at Femina Miss India 2017.

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu batch seems exotic and fierce. The contestants look polished and suave. The chosen finalists, Sanchana Natarajan, Sherlin Seth and Ayisha Abdul Rahman are all neck to neck competitors. While Ayisha seems incredibly modelesque, Sanchana has a graceful aura. However, I believe it is Sherlin Seth’s game at the end!

Sherlin is photogenic and bold. She is confident and speaks with spontaneity. If not Sherlin, Sanchana would also prove to be a bright choice with her elegant aura.

After Andhra Pradesh batch, Kerala gains thumbs up from my side! Kerala batch saw the selection of Hannah Reji Koshy, Aakriti Singh, and Mannat Singh. And Mannat Singh absolutely stands out in this very appealing batch.

With a tall stature, modelesque face and confident aura, I believe there is no hurdle for Mannat Singh to walk home with the title of Femina Miss India Kerala 2017.

Karnataka has given some unforgettable gems like Noyonita Lodh to Miss India, and this batch seems a decent one too if not the strongest! Nikita Sharma, Ruhika Dass and Swathi Muppala made it to the finalists spot of Femina Miss India Karnataka 2017 and for this title, I believe, Ruhika Dass would be the right choice.

Ruhika Dass seems photogenic, vibrant and confident. She stands out in the batch easily and should be crowned as the face of Karnataka during the south zonal crowning.

With this I end my review on the south zone of Femina Miss India 2017. Meanwhile, do share your opinions and favourites in the comment section below. Until next post, see you! 🙂

The winner of five states will be announced during the South Zonal crowning ceremony in Bengaluru on March 5, 2017, after which former Miss World first runner up, Parvathy Omanakuttan will be mentoring the crowned titleholders.
