Venus Raj To Host Red Carpet of Miss Universe 2016
With only a week left for Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach to pass on her crown to another laudable head as the titleholder of Miss Universe, the excitement is reaching on its peak. Meanwhile, Miss Universe Organization made a massive cheer by announcing that Venus Raj, Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010 will be joining the grand finale of Miss Universe 2016 as the red carpet host along with Bretman Rock.
Venus Raj is considered to be the touchstone for Filipino pageantry as the beauty queen broke the ten years drought of Philippines placement in the semi-finals. Not only did she bagged a spot in semi-finals but also clinched the title of fourth runner up at Miss Universe 2010, and since then there has been no looking back for Philippines.
Joining Venus Raj as the red carpet host will be none other than Bretman Rock. Bretman Rock is an 18-year-old social media personality, who is best known for his outlandish and hilarious online persona. Bretman is also known in the community as a beauty guru where he teaches his audience how to contour, highlight and create one of a kind looks through his viral tutorials.
Miss Universe 2016 will be the 65th edition of Miss Universe pageant. Miss Universe 2016 is slated to take place on January 30, 2017 in Manila, Philippines. This year more than 80 countries will compete for the title of Miss Universe 2016, hoping to be crowned by Pia Wurtzbach from Philippines as next Miss Universe.
